Hello!
I’m Lynn Davis. My journey includes earning a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Divinity with Languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. For over three decades, I served as a Resort Minister on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware with the North American Mission Board (SBC), while simultaneously spending 30 years investing in students as a Campus Minister at Salisbury University and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
My life has been filled with wonder, and I am compelled to write about everything God has taught me along the way. In the midst of this adventure, I’ve had the distinct joy of being a pastor’s wife and raising three amazing children—all of whom now serve as full-time ministers of the Gospel. They, in turn, have given me nine beautiful grandchildren who are each following the Lord with their own unique gifts.
God has given me a lifetime of stories, and I am so excited to share what He has revealed to me right here on this website. I hope you’ll drop by regularly to share in the vision, encouragement, and insights from this incredible journey.
My journey as a writer began in the classroom, where as a student I discovered the magic of creative writing and fell in love with the thrill of a good story. I’ve spent a lifetime as an avid reader, constantly drawn to the twists, tension, and intricate human puzzles of mystery and suspense. But my true masterclass in storytelling came through life as a pastor's wife. Over the years, I mastered the quiet art of listening and observing, simply watching people, relationships, and character unfold gently from the background. In many ways, I became a quiet fixture in the sanctuary, noticing the subtle details others missed.
Beneath it all lies my ultimate anchor and the conviction that Biblical principles are timeless. They provide an enduring lens through which I explore human nature, everyday events, and a life centered in Christ’s redemption, weaving truth and grace into every mystery I write.
